The teaching philosophy is based upon the fact children thrive in a loving, positive and nurturing environment. Our programs for young children are designed to incorporate learning, creativity, musicality and fun. 

AGES : 3-4

Saturdays: 11:30am-12:30pm

Young dancers are introduced to tap and ballet dance styles and explore movement, rhythm and creativity in a nurturing atmosphere.

AGES: 5-7

Tuesday: 5:00-5:45pm • Thursday: 5:00-5:45pm

Children are introduced to the beginnings of proper technique for ballet in a positive and creative environment. Classes focus on developing strength, flexibility, musicality and love for dance. Each class is 45 minutes long.

AGES : 6 and up

Thursdays: 5:45-6:45pm

Our Primary syllabus is specifically designed to prepare students for the requirements of A Ballet within our pre-professional school. Classes include a more extensive ballet vocabulary as well as exercises which develop strength, coordination and flexibility. Musicality and learning to put the steps to counts is emphasized throughout the class. Prior ballet experience is not required. Each class is 1 hour long.

AGES: 5-7

Saturday: 10:30-11:30am

Class time is shared to explore tap and ballet styles in each 60 minute class. 

All Students:

* Please purchase dance items at a reputable dance store such as Stage Center in Akron or Dancers Pointe in Stow. Target or other stores do not sell quality dance products.

Attire:

• Girls wear black leotards, pink tights and pink ballet shoes Colored leotards and skirts may be worn in the last class of each month.
• Boys wear white or black dance shirts, black leggings, white socks and black canvas spilt sole shoes.
• Ballet and Tap 1 will also need black tap shoes.

Hair:

• Pre-school-level girls should wear pigtails.
• All other levels may wear a ponytail or bun.
• Short hair must be pulled back with an elastic headband.
• Boys: Hair trimmed neatly away from face and collar. No razor designs or colored hair.
