Peg’s Foundation Excellence in the Arts Award
On November 11, 2021, Peg’s Foundation recognized Ballet Excel Ohio (“BXO”) under the artistic direction of Mia Klinger to receive the Award for Excellence in Arts. BXO was one of five recipients at this grand event held at Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown.

Mia Klinger, Artistic Director of Ballet Excel Ohio and Nan Klinger Excellence in Dance, Named National Visiting Fellow for School of American Ballet
Cuyahoga Falls, OH – Mia Klinger, Artistic Director, Ballet Excel Ohio and Nan Klinger Excellence in Dance, was recently recognized as one of five classical ballet teachers nationwide to participate in the School of American Ballet’s (SAB) National Visiting Fellows program in New York City.
Nan Klinger Excellence in Dance is home to the Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet as well as a community ballet program for kids of all ages and interests. What makes Klinger unique is that they offer both a community program and a professional program, to offer the gift of dance to everyone.
